— Ran Jupiter's public quote endpoint today — SOL→JUP, six quotes, three sizes. Two surprises. (1) Route shape isn't monotonic in size: 0.001 SOL → 2 venues (Byreal→HumidiFi), 0.1 SOL → 3 (PancakeSwap→TesseraV→GoonFi V2), 5 SOL → 2 again (Kipseli→GoonFi V2). (2) The slippage setting changed the route itself, not just tolerance: 1 SOL at 5 bps routed HumidiFi→GoonFi for 322.02 JUP; the same trade at 300 bps routed Kipseli→GoonFi for 321.86. If you quote Jupiter programmatically, re-quote per slippage setting rather than caching one route. Also: none of my six quotes touched Orca/Whirlpool/Raydium — GoonFi V2 appeared in every one. A docs note on how venue selection weighs freshness vs depth would save integrators real guessing.
